The Hottest Real Estate Markets in the World in 2009

November 8, 2009

Now that we have rolled into the fourth quarter of 2009, it’s a good time to take a look at how the real estate markets around the world are performing.  Because listing fallen and falling real estate markets would simply takehong-kong-luxury too long, let’s take a look at the more positive side: the real estate markets around the world that are doing well.

Here’s a short list of some of the booming real estate markets in the world:

1.  Hong Kong has been one of the strongest performers in the third quarter of 2009.  After a dropout in the real estate market in late 2008 and early to mid 2009, Hong Kong’s real estate market has continued its steady growth even up to October.  Some, however, fear that the real estate industry is soon to plateau, causing worries for many investors out there.

2.  There are two real estate hotspots located in Central America.  Costa Rica and Panama are expected by some experts to be two of the best, up-and-coming places for real estate in the world.

3.  Another hot real estate market is Australia.  The country is growing in leaps and bounds, attracting investors from all over the world.  With numerous regions and suburbs in continuous development, Australia has some great real estate for anyone looking in the market.
