Janet Tralins
Luxury Real Estate Advisor
Janet considers herself a South Florida native, having moved to Miami in middle school from California. She studied political science at the University of Florida with an additional concentration in Spanish and Latin American Studies. Janet also studied at the Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara, México, to further her Spanish language studies. She is fluent in Spanish and is currently studying Portuguese. After working several years in international banking and wealth management, Janet decided to focus on the exciting world of real estate in South Florida. She’s excited to use her bilingual skills each day to offer her thorough knowledge of the Miami real estate market to her discerning clientele in South Florida and to her international customer base.
As a resident of Coral Gables and an active member of her community, she is very familiar and knowledgeable about Coral Gables, Coconut Grove, and the exciting Brickell area as well as nearby neighborhoods. Coral Gables is truly the “City Beautiful,” incorporating iconic landmarks such as the coral rock Venetian Pool and the Biltmore Hotel. Coconut Grove and Coral Gables boast fine restaurants, live theatre, and beautiful parks for families to enjoy. “There are so many exciting things to take advantage of as a resident of either Coral Gables or Coconut Grove, including The Beaux Arts Festival in Coral Gables in January and the Coconut Grove Art Festival in February,” says Janet. Both art events kick off the local Miami art scene each year after the exciting Art Basel events in December.
Living in sunny South Florida gives Janet the chance to take advantage of truly South Florida outdoor activities. Her interests include sailing (she’s sailed across the Atlantic and through the Mediterranean), paddleboarding, and tennis, as a player and as a loyal attendee at the Miami Open. For several years she volunteered as a parent coordinator for students assisting at a homeless shelter until a professional was able to take over coordinating activities. Janet is able to provide a wide range of local information for her buyers because she is involved in her local community. She continues to support organizations close to her heart such as Young Patronesses of the Opera, the Lowe Art Museum at the University of Miami, and The 200 Club.
Janet is the real estate professional her clients depend on. Her ability to market and properly position a property, combined with strong sales and negotiation skills, are essential components to exceeding her customers’ every expectation. “Each property is an important investment for my clients,” Janet says, “no matter the price. I always commit 100% to each client and their individual needs because each one deserves the very best that I can offer.” Being exceptionally responsive and offering personal service with respect for her clients’ needs are what sets Janet apart. Understanding her clients’ investment needs and working closely with them with discretion has proven to be a successful working practice.
